Väinämoinen ist Santa Clauss ist der Julbock ist Joulupukki ist der Weihnachtsmann ist die Bockfigur aus heidnischer Zeit und viele tausend Jahre alt. Der deutsche Artikel beschreibt die lange Geschichte dieser Figur, die Mensch war und zum Symbol für die Sonne wurde. Der englische Artikel entstand mit dem Ansatz, die Tiefen und Wandlungen dieses Symbols auszuloten und zu hinterfragen, was genau ihn so berühmt werden ließ. Die Richtung beider Artikel ist die gleiche, die enthaltenen Informationen indes ergänzen sich.
